Additional settings for V&H fuelpak with short shots
Ok so the guy from V&H misunderstood me. I called again because it is still popping. He told me they should have never told me to up mode 23 to 50. That would be the case of the bike was turning off at a stop.
So now they told me to go back to the original setting which is 22 and lower it in increments of 1. If it stops popping, there is your setting. What he did say is that if you come to a stop and the bike turns off, you went too low. Hopefully I find the mode that it wouldn't pop as well as not turn off... I will update this weekend...
Ok I know there is a ton of stuff on here about this topic....
I have an 09 nightster with short shots, high five Mach 2 air intake and fuelpak. And get a lot of popping on decel.
I finally got thought to V&H after a busy signal for 2 hours... Basically he told me to change mode 23 to 50...
I have not tried it yet but just wanted to share this with you all. I will try this afternoon and keep you posted. If anyone else has had this issue and resolved it, please share. A lot of the threads I read we're outdated....

Reason: UPDATE

I wish you luck, but I had never had any success getting a reasonable result with my Fuelpak. It was always a pain getting through to V&H, and they seemed disinterested when I did. I eventually took advantage of FuelMoto's trade in program and got rid of that POS and got a Powervision.
Thanks boost... I will give a shot and see. And yes u are right Bout them being uninterested. There were pretty interested though when I bought it. I know I will never purchase from them again that's for sure.
I never heard of that program. If u don't mind, can u tell me how it works???

Check out their website or email them. They basically take whatever tuner you have and give you $150 for it towards the purchase of a Powervision or Power Commander. When you buy from them you get lifetime map support (great if you change parts), its got the auto tune function, etc. Hopefully that change will work for you, but that was the same issue I had (decel backfiring) and none of their suggested changes worked
Changed setting and still some popping on decel. Runs like a beast though and doesn't backfire so I am not going to worry about it too much right now...
