So my wife is sick of hearing me talk about it so I thought I'd come here for some help. I have an 07 nightster and really enjoy riding it but as everyone knows they aren't the greatest for long rides or two up. Today I test rode a 2013 street bob and like how smooth it is and the feel on the highway. I'm pretty torn on weather I should trade in for it and Unfortunately I cant have both. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks all
is buying a 2nd nightster an option? Sportster are just terrible for 2up riding,
I only have a sportster because it was about the only Harley I could afford, even though HD was willing to fiancé up to $13,000 for me I still decided to go with a $7,000 sportster so I didn't have to borrow more money than I had to. But sometimes I wish I had gone ahead and gotten the bigger, faster, bike just because the sportsters are so small.
If you want to keep yourself and your woman happy / comfortable for those longer rides, forget about the others and get the Street Glide.
Only way to go.
I love the Street Bob, if it was available in a 103 when I got my Wide Glide I'd have got one instead. Then like true arseholes Harley brought out the special edition SB 103, just as well I hate the paint job. The SB as standard is a single seat and may not be as good two up. Go for the Street Glide mate.

I take exception to your comment saying "I wish I had gone ahead and gotten...bigger, faster bike...". Faster? HA! A big twin has NEVER been faster than my XL1200R uo to 75 mph, and many have tried.
Get her a sportster. Cheaper than a Street Glide. You get to keep yours that you love so much and she can have whatever seat she likes. It's a win - win.
