That bike looks like it's been through several iterations since you got it. A lot of work put into it. It's a great looking bike a shame I couldn't ride it very comfortably.
I think the seat is comfortable. I'm surprised really. I wasn't sure how it would feel but I haven't had any complaints. as for the different iterations, it's definitely been a long process. I haven't really invested a lot into it so it took a while to get all the pieces together that I wanted.
That's not a bad idea. I feel like theres something going on up front that just doesn't look right. I been eyeballing the front wheel thinking maybe it's too big (21") and I was considering trading someone for a 19" wheel but I sort of like the big wheel. My next big project is cleaning up the front end. The cables and wires look awful around the bars. I wanna wire them internally and clean that mess up. A headlight relocation might help set off the front. Thanks for the input. I'm always open to ideas.
I really like what it did for mine, makes the fork look cleaner, longer and not as congested even with the tool bag, also able to locate the tool bag higher so it wasn't hitting the fender when the fork compressed.
Been a while since I posted any updates on anything I've done to the bike. For anyone who's interested. Here's a list of things I've done lately:
Put spoke covers on the front wheel:
Before
After
Ripped the back end apart and painted the brake rotor and rear sprocket:
Before
During
Rotor After
Both After
Pulley After
Painted the rear wheel:
I love the look of the rear wheel blacked out, but I'm looking for some rim decals similar to the ones on the new Fat Bob wheels. I think that would really set it off.
I'm also currently in the process of taping off the engine to paint it. I wanna black it out and polish off the fins on the jugs. I've pulled mostly everything off that I can. I have a lot of taping left to do. But i'm getting there.
