Thanks. It's come a long way since I got it. I'm gonna black out the front end next. I put the bike back together last night and got some pics. I'll upload them later.

Thanks a lot. My next projects are going to be:

- Swap out my 21" front wheel for a 19" spoked front wheel like the one from a Nightster.
- Black out the lower forks, triple tree clamps, and handlebars.
- Get a set of black upper fork covers.
- Handlebar wire tuck, and run all the wiring through the frame
- 1250 set up and 1200 gearing.

I'm also kicking around the idea of a headlight relocation kit and a dual headlight setup. And I've been looking a photos of bikes with lowered front forks. I feel like its too tall and skinny up front. Thats another reason I want to get a shorter, fatter front tire. I can't stand the look of the fatty 48' wheel/ tire, but I love the 19" Nightster wheel/ tire. Maybe someone here has one they're willing to trade???

How do you intend to black out the triple trees and fork lowers? I'm curious

Well I've been using this appliance epoxy from Lowes to paint all types of stuff on the bike. It matches the HD vivid black really well. I took a really big rock to the tank not that long ago and it did hardly any damage so its super tough too. I'll be painting the lowers with that, and the triple trees will get the same.

So I had a little mishap the other day. I decided to take the bike for a test ride to make sure all was well before riding to work. Apparently the seal inside the Quick Disconnect under the tank had a chunk taken out of it at some point. I got to the end of the street before I noticed the fuel all over the side of my bike and on my leg. I replace the o-ring but it turns out this high temp paint I used doesn't stand up to fuel. So I had to strip the bike all down and repaint the engine with high temp engine enamel from the parts store. Anyway, she's all back together and doesn't leak a bit. Here's a couple pics.
