It stands for "RICH URBAN BIKER" sort of a pretender with a very expensive bike, very expensive motorclothes, jewelry etc. at least that's what I've read. I don't wanna pizz off no rich folks
Then again, to a lot of the REAL bikers on here, anyone who has a full-time job making more than minimum wage (except at the York plant of course) and bathes everyday is a RUB
I'll give you a great definition of a "RUB". My brother-in-law. 2 yrs ago he bought a road king and, to the best of my knowledge ,has rode it twice. On the way home from the dealer, and to my dads house(40 miles), and back home. He bought all the harley stuff leather jacket, chaps, gloves, boots, and do-rag, for him and my sister. Now it sits in the corner of his garage collecting dust.
A RUB likes to show off his disposable income. A RUBspends more time washing and waxing his bike than he does riding it.A RUB likes toput it outit in the driveway where his neighbors can see it.A RUBowns a 2 year old bike with 2000 miles on it.A RUB will get bored with it and sell it to buy a new boat, snowmobile, jet ski, or whatever will be next years hobby. Someone one on another forum nailed it, he said that to these A-holes, a Harley is just a piece of butt jewlery! These guys are your best bet if you are looking for a used bike.

Yeah but you gotta love RUBs. There never seems to be a shortage of good, recent vintage, low mileage used bikes to choose from out there in the market place. I know I'm one who will never buy new again.
