Default Changing oil filter

Hey you savages. What are your tricks for replacing the oil filter without getting a **** ton of motor oil all over?

Harley makes a special funnel for this purpose. I just got a product called a Form a Funnel and it works great. If you don't get the oil to drain past the frame rails, you get it all over the frame and motor mount.

I got it for my car oil always spills on the frame when removing the filter. After I got it, I realized it does the same thing for my bike. Cool product for sure.

I also change when warm. I have never tried a milk jug, but a 2 liter soft drink bottle doesn't melt.

I must be the only one who takes it off and lets the oil make a mess and just wipe it with a rag and that's good enough. I ride everyday and the bike get's so much road grime and rain splatter and yadda yadda it seems stupid to worry about one little oil drip.

Not that much gets on there anyway. Wipes up easy, and wipes off roadresidue along with it
