Is there such a thing or any suggestions? It would seem like anybody could rip off your windshield in just a few seconds.I have a quick release luggage rack that has locks on it from HD but locks for the windshield doesn't seem available.
I would say it's pretty impossible to lock unless you run a cable lock through it and the forks. The way I see it it's pretty unlikely that someone would steal your windshield (better chance of someone taking the whole bike). If your worried about it just increase your accessories coverage on insurance.

I used a cheap bicycle lock wrapped through the brackets and the forks. It would not stop someone with any kind of a tool to cut it, but it will stop anyone from just unsnapping the brackets and taking the windshield. The chances of that happening pretty much depend on where you park.
My favorite insurance is a .357. It discourages thieves and cleanses the gene pool. But that's just me....
I am, and probably everyone else is also, impressed by what a 'bad dude' you are! Does this mean that you, and your .357, stand guard on your scooter 24/7? Your 'brand' of insurance wouldn't have helped me when my 3 month old Kawasaki H1 was stolen in 6/71. I was a student at UNLV and in class when my bike was stolen. And it wouldn't protect a windshield if you, and your .357, weren't there would it?
With my previous postI was just attempting tohelp a fellow rider with a question. I mean that's why I'm, and I assumed most of us are, here. To share our knowledge and benefit from other people'sknowledge and experience. Or am I missing the point of these forums?
thanks rjg883Cyou took the words out of my mouth, smart *** remarks on this forum should be stopped. The 357 magnum forum should be the place where you can blow off your steam and smart *** remarks.
I have a non-quick-detach HD windshield... I'll even throw in a little money if you want to trade. ;-) Mine takes about 5-10 minutes and a couple of 1/2" sockets/wrenches to remove. I compared it to my friend's windshield that is the quick-detach and they are identical except for the mounting brackets.

Harley sells a lock that replaces one of the clamps for the HD quick disconnect windshields. It's about $40. I have one on mine.
