I think im also gonna try and open up the front turn signal housings to check out the wiring in there. Might be a little screwy. I'm positive that the rear turn signal housings of the new lights take a dual filament bulb whereas the original turn signals took only a single filament. The really odd thing is when I plug my original front turn signals back in (with the new back ones) things work fine.

I have the same problem, what was the fix ? The only difference is that I installed a different type of rear turn signal lamp. I'm pretty well convinced it's a ground issue. I am however intrequed by Hagar the Horrible's suggestion, "You may need to use blue black in the rear instead of purple black." . How can you come to this deduction (I'm willing to try just about anything) ? My manual says that the blue/black, should be used for DOM or HDI, not sure which. How does the blue/black wire play a role in the turn signals?

Would anyone know if the 4-ways use the same flasher as the turn signals? Oops, they use the turn signal module......right ??

I wish 99XL883C would post his cure for the problem !!

I had the non flashing problem as well. I installed a Load equalizer II from Badlands. ( got it from the Stealer) It was because my Currnet (mini bullets) lights didn't draw as much wattage as the stockers. That made the signal module "think" there was a burned out bulb. That was why my custom lights didn't work initially.

- thanks guys.

- will do some testing over the coming weekend, and
try to get them to FLASH.

- damn strange that the HAZARD FLASHING works , but
the direction lights are willing to be LIT but refuse to
FLASH.

cheers.
