Default considering new risers...

Hey folks,

I'm toying with a few simple ideas for cosmetic upgrades once I'm forced to put the bike away for the winter.

One of the things I'm considering is a speedo relocation.
If I do that I'd also like to change out the handlebar risers/clamps. Ideally two small clamps, not like the standard big one that spans both forks.

The goal would be to be able to mount something else onto the center of the handlebar. The stock riser is in the way of that.
If you're interested here's what I'm thinking of hacking onto the bike... http://www.quadlockcase.com/collecti...-bar-mount-pro

Any way back to the risers...
I'm ok with the height of the bar today, but if I were to mount that thing between the two risers the profile of the clamps themselves will be important. ( I don't want the top of the clamp to be too tall or bulky)

Any ideas or suggestions for low profile risers, that come in two pieces, but won't really alter the height of the handle bars?

The RSD ones look great of course, but not sure how tall the top clamp is, and... you know... they're $160 bucks.
