Was going to spend the money on a few parts but I decided to just give it a try and paint them, I painted the derby cover and another part which I don't even know the name of it but its located near the derby cover, if thats what its called, lol...
Now she needs my SG shocks, Mustang seat or vintage solo seat, and black out the forks and remove the front fender... and maaaaaybe make room for a pass, but I'm still debating since this is my City bike and my SG is my main touring bike... I posted a few pics

The paint looks good, I did my wrinkle grey ham can last winter, the derby and inspection cover may get done this winter. Debating on just spending a few bucks and getting a willie G derby.
What motorcycle jack is that your using. I don't really care for the one my father-in law lets me borrow. It's to jerky on the way down and hard to get in just the right spot. That one looks perfect!
Derby and inspection cover looks great. Overall the bike looks great! And those changes planned will make it look and ride even better.
Thank you for sharing. Keep the photos coming.
Ok that's what its called "Inspection cover" was trying to figure it out, thanks for helping me... Yeah, I'm looking forward to making the changes, been considering even chopping her up a bit too. Cut out the rear fender, but way too many irons kinda fall into that bobber type bike, would love to be different..

I have 2 bike jacks one's from Sears, heavy duty and this one is a generic hand cranked type jacked just to do basic things. You can find them on Amazon, thats where I purchased her from.. To me the Willie G Derby isn't worth the $ just paint them yourself and save the bucks for more goodies down the road, maybe a better suspension such as a touring suspension from the SG, etc.
