Remove the front caliper (don't let it hang by the hose - tie it up with zip ties), front wheel, fender, and drop the tubes from the triple trees.
Take pics during disassembly, if you need to. Test fit them. If the radius on the top is too big or too far from the bottom of the top tree and flops around too much, use an o-ring to take up the slop (blue arrow). Other than that, it looks like the tab (built into the shroud covers) is held by the lower fork tube clamp bolt (red arrow).
Just hold 'em up to your bike and scratch your head. That's what I do.
Use a torque wrench. You're gonna need the torque specs, like in the Service Manual. Obviously, you're gonna need a way to hold the front of the bike in the air.

You can no longer run a fender with these?

As long as it fits between the shrouds, I don't see why not. A stock fender might not clear them in its factory configuration.

According to the vendor, no, fender needs to be removed.. Plus it makes the bike look better. Wish I could find a "How to video" on this

How hard can it be?
Jack up the bike.
Remove the wheel and fender.
Remove the sliders from the forks.
Slide on the shrouds.
Check fit, use rubber o-ring if required on top.
The shroud has one bolt that should align with the lower tree bolt.

I'm assuming you have a Service Manual and torque wrench.

For a guy that doesn't have any experience, it could be challenging. That's why I'm asking for help, not asking to get flamed or make me look bad..
