taillights quit working 01 sportster 883
Hey y'all I'm a newbie to owning a bike and the forum. I recently just bought an 01 883 with 17000 miles on it and while ridding today I found out my taillights quit working. I pull the 4 fuses (not sure what the go to) and checked them and I can't find any burnt or cut wires. Does anyone know of anything else I can check?

Do you mean tail light? In stock form, the turn signals only act as turn signals and not marker lights. The brake light acts as marker light & brake light using a dual filament bulb. Turn signals are single filament & only come on when you hit the turn switch.

I have no lights in the back at all. I've been having a problem with the right turn signal before that. It wouldn't always work or it would work then turn itself off and not work again. I checked the wires under the fender and couldn't see anything wrong but I was at a gas station so I will double check them now that I am home. Thanks
