I like pink nipples...

But seriously...
I have stainless spokes/nipples with black anodized aluminum rim to make the tire look fatter.

the work to do as you are saying would no more difficult than any of the other options as the spokes will be stainless and the "brass" powdercoat.

Meaning keeping them clean. To get then plated I dont know if stainless would be viable but a gold colored anodize or brass plated would really stand out and give that old skool look. Proper care and they wouldn't rust unless you ride year round.
