Default Aux Light Kit

Well, got my light kit today with the signal relocation kit and l'm reading the instructions - ready to get going, and......'remove gas tank!' Hmm, there is about 4 and a half gallons of stabilized gas in there........great.

Do you just have to route cables there, or need to get to anything under the tank? If it was just for routing cables to the back (like hooking up a GPS mount to the electric system under the seat, as I did), unbolt the tank at the back, loosen the bolt in front, lift the tank up few inches, and put a piece of wood between tank and frame. You then should have ample room to route your cables.

Cheers,
Jan
