Apes getting fitted :)
Well I chickened out on fitting my 10" apes on my sportster as its too vold and dark over here when I finish work to work on the bike especially cutting and soldering wires!
So a custom chopper place by me is gonna fit it all with me supplying bars and brake line for £80! Cant wait to get them, then hopefully I can work out how yo put some pics up! !

good for you. when i bought my sporty it alreasdy had 12" apes but i wanted OEM or otherwise low rise bars. jerks here wanted $750 to fit some OEM Iron 883 take off stuff they had laying around. bought OEM 48 take-offs on here for about $90 and did it myself

Put 16" Apes on the 06 883 with 2" risers. Bought a longer clutch cable for $5 at an Indi bike shop. A longer brake cable was given to me from a guy who used to have longer forks on his sporty. I did the wiring myself. Oh yeah, the bars were a gift from my nephew. Old un-knurled bars from his friend that he got powdercoated when I was rebuilding my bike. Bout all I have in it is $5 and a few hours of my own time. Best thing I have ever done to the bike for my blown out lower back.
