Default Fixed until broke

I put a set of passing lights on today and was thinking about relocating the turn signals below them. So I took them apart to see what I was going to have to do. I put them back together and now the one I took apart is acting strange. It will blink 4-5 times normally, then speed up like a bulb is out. It never stops working completely.

No, I assumed that if the fuse were blown it wouldn't work at all.

I work in the IT world and simple logic has been lost by me. I check all the things out there that "shouldnt" work because of this and that and have found that in more than one situation it worked. How about the bulb being seated properly? Or the connector loose into the housing?

Did you check the rear turn signal bulb while the front bulb is flashing? A fast flash is often a sign of the corresponding (rear) bulb not working or a bad ground.

Alright figured it out in case anyone else runs into this. While disassembling the turn signals i messed up the bulb socket. Quick trip to AutoZone to pick one up and it was an easy fix. Since I was cutting wires anyway I decided to go ahead and do the turn signal relocation kit that I had previously decided not to do.

Hey Flashbang, did you disassemble the turn signal light itself? I'd like to do the same to my front signals, so I can try to shorten the wires and eliminate the heatshrink I used to cover the splice I made during my relocation project. If this is what you did, can you explain how it was done? I've posted several times on this topic and have received no real answers.
