Looks great! Mine is also screwed in. I used to work as programmer and machinist with a 5 axis mill. Sure is nice to have access to the equipment. Where I work now we just have a manual mill and lathe. Make the most of the equipment as you can!

Thanks,
I have been out of CNC for a few years, Spent 20+ years in automotive. All 2 1/2 axis and mill/ turn stuff. Nothing complex. Spent the last 5 years 3D Thermoform mold designing in SolidWorks but no machining. We had other guys who did the toolpath. Now I'm at a University as a Lab tech, non teaching position but I get to play with a small Haas mill and Lathe to keep my skills up in case a student or professor needs something made. I ran across a great product that integrates with SolidWorks, HSMWorks. I cant say enough good about it.
Nice job. It's all about speed and feed.
The only thing I might consider is counter bore the screw holes for socket head bolts. I know that's not necessary, but it puts some sex on it.

Yep, I thought of that.
The stock cover is only .070 thick, I didnt want to go real think like some of the after market covers are. This one is made from .125 stock with the ring taken down to .070 . Not much thickness to counter bore the screw holes .
I have 2 more drying now with the outer face black and the ring and numbers raw alum.
Here is the finished product.
I also have a reverse version with the numbers black and outer face aluminum and just sprayed one entirely in black plastic dip just to see.
