In the progress of replacing rocker gasket 2nd time. 1st was done by dealer. So try it myself this time. The leaking ended up was caused by all 3 7/16 bolts loosen. I could loose them by hand. Anyway, I still proceeded the gasket replacement.
The 4 1/2 bolts by book should be tightened with 18 to 22 f/b. I proceeded with caution by tightening to 10f/b first, then 15, and 18. I stopped at 20 because I extended the wrench and I am chicken to go max .
For torque range, will you go usually min (18) or max(22).
I always try to hit middle of spec. I don't have my wrenches calibrated ever so this way I have some give or take each way. I do back torque off wrenches completely before putting back in my tool box.
