Default Re Jet Kit

I just bought CycleShack Slip-Ons and eventually I will be buying a K&N upgrade and know I need to to rejet once I do the air filter upgrade so I was looking on ebay andfound this one.I'm a little bit confused at why it would be almost 85 less than what I found on JP Cycles. Has anyone ever used or know anyone who bought this kit off of ebay?

I bought that kit and had it installed (wife's xl883l) in no time. The instructions that they send you are great too.

I used this kit and was very pleased with the result. Great instructions. Being very slow & careful, reading directions twice, finished the install in 45 minutes.

The kit came with both... and I did both. I don't know what effect changing one or the other would have.

Go and buy a 180 main and 45 slow and one needle shim. Install and go for around ten bucks.

For most bikes you just need to change the slow jet for a 45 and leave the main jet alone. It really depends on the bike though.

Much of the changes you would have to make to a carb would depend on its performance charactaristics. So, the answer to the question on "do you have to change all the jets" is, no. Keeping that in mind however, most folks who have changed jets have found that certain combinations work well together for certain bikes, areas of altitude, etc. It's similar to the standard low/idle jet response of "turning the screw out 2 turns" from closed to begin with on adjustments to be made.
