harleyj4585... oh man i lose my mind when i take stuff apart. i started doing my bars late at night one night and knew if i went home i wouldnt be able to fall asleep knowing my scoot is in pieces so i sucked it up and stayed up pretty fricken late. it's worth it once its all back together though.

its kind of wierd even when its 20 below outside and your bikes in pieces you still get pissed just knowing your bikes in-operable. i hate it!

Yeah... know the feeling... but that's why I've ordered everything in before I start and will be doing the front-end while the tins are in paint...

PigInaBlanket... Where did you pick up the lowers from?

I picked them up at the local Harley dealer this past week-end $304 with tax... don't look like much for that much money... lol

celtlion...Wow Charlie, you already have an awesome ride. I can't wait to see how the bike looks once you've added the chopper kit..I see a BOTM or BOTY coming up!

Thanks for the kind words... but BOTM or BOTY... too many baggers for that to happen I would think... but if it comes out close to anything like I imagine... I'll be happy and that's enough for me...

WarriorHD...Well goodluck and start smiling...this is something to be excited over. Hell, you can make the $3200 back in no time.....This is one bike I can't wait to see when its done

Yeah... the money I don't worry about... just about everything extra that I made in the last year and a half has gone into this bike... so what's another 3200... lol

But it's a major change on the bike this time and because I love it the way it is... I don't want to fukk it up... so I hold my breath until I get her done and see how she comes out... I'm thinking good thoughts... but you just never know... your mind tends to fill in the blanks that you don't actually consider... lol
