Woohoo! Which rake and what overage did you get? Also did you go for the 41mm tubes or are you gonna stick with the39 mm tubes?I wonder if you have to change your headlight out or will it have the right parts to bolt your stock headlight back onto the trees.
Ifyou can could you post some pics of it going together like someone else did with the 1250 conversion they did. That was pretty informative.
You lucky bastard, I want that chopper kit so bad I am about to get out one of the credit cards that I made my wife never ever use again since we paid them off last month. [8D]

I'm sticking with the 39's... I studied and studied the pics I just like the looks of the 39s better than the 41s...
It's the eight over tubes...
Yeah... the head light is supposed to mount right up...
I bought the chrome lowers this past weekend... don't look like much for 300 bucks... lol
You want a video... with all the cussing and stuff... or just stills... j/k
I'm not much of an instructor or technical writer for that matter... I'll give it some thought though...
oh man i lose my mind when i take stuff apart. i started doing my bars late at night one night and knew if i went home i wouldnt be able to fall asleep knowing my scoot is in pieces so i sucked it up and stayed up pretty fricken late. it's worth it once its all back together though.
its kind of wierd even when its 20 below outside and your bikes in pieces you still get pissed just knowing your bikes in-operable. i hate it!
dbleagle I'm with you, I think the 39mm tubes look better on the Sportster but I do like the chrome lowers. Where did you pick up the lowers from? I was thinking the 14 rake with 8 over for mine too.
Pictures would be fine with me but if you want to do a video then that would be cool.
Wow Charlie, you already have an awesome ride. I can't wait to see how the bike looks once you've added the chopper kit..I see a BOTM or BOTY coming up!
Well goodluck and start smiling...this is something to be excited over. Hell, you can make the $3200 back in no time.....This is one bike I can't wait to see when its done
