Nightster Speedometer Relocation
I did the relocation on my Nightster Saturday morning.
Total cost: $84.41 (Joker Machine Top Clamp = $66.95, Autometer Clamp = $17.46).
It can be done cheaper using a generic top clamp:

I just thought my way was a little more aesthetically appealing for an extra $26.05.
I painted the Autometer clamp Semi Flat Black. I had to drill out the mount so the tank bolt would go through, then I just put the mount between the existing nut on the end of the bolt and added a 2nd nut.
If you wanted visibility for the speedometer (I have to lean over to see the clock and the speeds under 30mph) you could get a new, longer tank bolt and use a spacer between the tank mounting tab and the gauge mount. I decided having it tucked in more was worth the reduced visibility.
I think it looks 5000% better after the relocation.
