SE 2 SP slipons performance issues?
Question is for anyone that currently put only the SE 2SP slip on pipes, did you have any performance issues afterward such as backfiring, flat spots from less back pressure, etc.
Or did you notice any perceived performance gain or just a better sound. I don't really care about increased hp, I just don't want a lot of develop popping or loss in the powerband.
Thx JD

I installed mine with less than 500 miles on bike. Not a single issue. I later put a DK 578 A/C and some XiEDs. Again, no issues at all.
Some notes to consider. These are 50 state street legal. They DO have a catalytic converter in them. You'll find threads around the internet saying that they don't have a cat. They do. As a result they run quite hot - but their design incorporates plenty of shielding, so no worries. They use the stock crossover tube and are not difficult to install. I got a great deal from the dealer (they were on sale), so I let them install the pipes for something like $48 even - but I could have installed them just fine.
Bottom line is that they add just the right amount of volume and tone change while providing a nice torque increase where you need it. They're not the highest performance HP pipes, and they won't **** off the neighbors. If that's what you're looking for they are the bomb.
