I have a 2014 Iron 883 and I've been shopping around for saddlebags... I keep looking at the La Rosa swing arm bags. I am wondering if anyone has bought from them and has got the left & right side bags for an Iron 883? Has anyone had issues installing the right side bag if they did get them?
I saw the La Rosa bags on Ebay and it says its compatible with the Iron, but I haven't had good luck with Ebay in the past so I'm a little unsure... Any advice?
all depends on what your using the bags for, I looked into bags and found the swing arm bags to be way too small for much of anything. I'm still looking for bags for my 2006 sportster to take some day trips, but I have a solo seat on mine so I can't use throw over bags, and it has that weird quick connect thing for a backrest and the only bags I can find that mount to that are OEM Harley ones and I refuse to pay their outrageous prices for accessories.
I don't need super huge... Just bags for day rides. I guess I'm more worried that the right side bag will touch the pipes on an Iron. So wondering if anyone else has bags on the right side too? Or is it more the norm to just do left side bag? I only see pics online of Irons with bags on the left so made me wonder if theres a reason for that lol

I've just installed the H-D rigid leather bags #53050-10, which look neat and fit well. My bike's a SuperLow, but the HD website shows that they will fit your bike too. They also need an indicator relocation kit, which you may find most decent sized bags do. The bags are bolted to the bike and are actually leather-covered plastic bodies, so look durable and aren't going to collapse or lose shape. They even come with a pot of leather treatment! Iron pipes are the same as on my bike and I cannot see how they will touch the bags.
