Cool Getting 114 HP from a Sportster!

Just got off phone with a company called NRHS and I was wanting to find out a few ways they get extra HP outta their Sportsters, as I was gonna buy another motor and tranny combo for my Sportster, you do not want to know what it would cost, cheaper than buying a new bike though, anyway, I found out that after putting in my 6 speed tranny, I now am gonna take it back apart and take it to Colorado with $2200.00 and end up with a 114 horsepower street bike, I guess I will be painting alot of bike tanks and cars this summer. But what the heck, am divorced and my son is married in Florida and has his own life, I might as well finally get my bike where I want it before I start working on my house here in Ohio. I gotta upgrade the whole house, bathrooms , kitchen, new paint, floors, carpet, dam, I'm getting depressed thinking about it!! Oh joy, I forgot, last night I broke my cluth cable, the stainless steel types, the ones that cost out the ***! Gotta go, got to start fiberglass work on a Nova I have in the body shop, his quarters are bad, so he doesn't want to replace with steel, he wants me to fix with glass, it's a drag car, guess he's worried about weight, he should go on a diet first if he is that worried! C-ya!

Thumbs up

Plenty of members have NRHS conversions in here, although I don't recall quite such a big number. I'm sure we all look forward to learning more when it's done! We will want to see dyno graphs.....

114 HP has got to be big inches and a lot of airflow. Seems like $2200 is kinda light on price.. especially considering labor. If it's legit I'd like a full rundown too. Need to see this magic. ^^^^ that guy there would know how much is talk and how much is walk.

+1 - I also would like to see the work order/part list. 114 HP is doable, but not easy at $2200 just for the parts alone.

Also, NRHS is closed this week due to a death in the family, so I'm not sure how the OP "Just got off phone with a company called NRHS".

edit: I'm not calling anyone out, but it just doesn't add up to me.

Hammer and nrhs are two different companies. As far as I know nrhs hasn't broken the 106ish hp mark yet in the last 2 years.

2200 won't do it unless you already have some go fast parts that will help out in your build.

I'm with cHarley except I am calling the o.p. out

$2200 will maybe pay for a procharger setup. Maybe that's their plan?
