Hi guys,

I was riding the bike today after a long day of work. When I went to park my bike, I got too close to the curb. I scraped the bottom nut on the foot peg really good. Looks like a took a angle grinder to it. The peg is fine, nothing else damaged, just some scratches on the bottom of the peg itself. The nut still has enough side wall for me too unscrew it. My question is, what size bolt and nut is used on a 96 sportster? I know it's a grade 8 bolt, and I believe it has a lock nut on it. I know it won't fall off, but I'll feel better just replacing it.
