Default sweating the small stuff...

as I sit around waiting for my new rear rotor to be made, the bike is still on the lift doing nothing, now i'm bored and sweating the small stuff. ive been going over the 48 and noticing how ugly the stock screws and bolts are. i'm willing to do those covers but i'd rather see what I can replace first before I go that route. ive been doing searches online for black handlebar clamp screws and haven't found anyone who makes them, very surprising, not even joker machine. I don't know why, since almost everyone is switching to black risers and handlebars, why doesn't anyone have black screws? I have the stock bars on, so if anyone has any info on who makes them please fill me in. otherwise i'll paint them or cover them. I hope my rear rotor comes in soon so I can get the bike on the road and stop spending money lol

replaced mine with black ones i got from tractor supply

they cost me like $4 tops.

take one with you, so you cant match the thread, i dont recall what they were.

put some wd 40 or rust preventive on them, as they will get surface rust if left untreated...still better then bare metal!!!

I could never own two Harleys. My second bike would be a Ural 2WD so I could ride 24 7 365.

You are a brave man!

Those bolts are simple allen "socket head cap" screws/bolts, usually had in anything from standard black oxide finish [usually the least expensive of all the finishes], cad plated [what's on your bike now], chrome plated, or stainless steel:

...and available in a $hitload of sizes and grades; check here at Graingers for a few samples:

I'm not privy to the thread pitch or length required to replace the ones you've got, but I'm sure you'll be able to take a sample to your local hardware store and get what you require. I would suggest the highest grade available.
