Brake caliper grease.
Your brake overheats because the piston(s) do not back up after the brake is released. Most likely cause is the piston(s) are stuck. You take sane amount of caliper grease and put it on the piston(s) (under rubber boot). Then you push the piston in and use your brake pedal to push it out to make the grease work, repeat until the piston moves freely.
You need grease like this one:
Amazon.com: CRC Industries 05353 Brake Caliper Grease - 12 oz.: Automotive
That should do it.

bike is going in for new rubber this week, i will have them clean the rear caliper and put new pads in while they have the wheel off - it's the only way to access the caliper. As per the manual, you cannot remove the caliper without removing the rear wheel.

I just went to town spraying brake kleen generously every where i could get it and used a tooth brush to get at what i could - rear is making less noise, but i noticed now, that the inside pad seems to be lose, as in i can wiggle it

thanks for all the responses and time you guys take to answer redundant questions.
