Default RSD Mid Controls

Anyone looking to get a set of the Roland Sands Designs Mid mount controls? They look like they would be perfect, rear sets to me are too far back with the short seat height to peg distance. Here are some pics from the install instructions.

They look great like nearly all the RSD parts, but like all of the RSD parts the price tag is VERY steep. If you want mids buy them used from a member on here, lots of guys swap to forwards from their mids and then sell them as take offs. Personally I think the only set of foot controls to get would be rear sets from RSD primarily because there aren't very many on the market but RSD seems to scream cafe to me and I like that style as well.

These mids are not like stock HD mids, that's what I already have. The RSD mids move the foot position approximately 1" up, 1" back and 1.5" narrower per side for increased ground clearance when cornering.

Not sure how it would actually work out on a rubber mounted motor & the foot pegs shaking around so much. The pre-rubber mounted stuff didn't rock around so freely like these motors do.

I know it's been a few years but I just found this page. Do you have any feedback on how the pegs felt to your feet, solid mounted to the motor?

Yeah it's like 8 years old. Good luck with that! The Thread started hasn't posted in 3 years.

Nonetheless , I am horrified that these things are held in place by three Derby Cover screws and therefore shake with the engine . Surely this can't be right . I would question whether these pegs are genuinely manufactured by Roland Sands Design and are not part of the plethora of Chinese rip offs that bear the same name .
