Horn, Brake Light, Signals not working - 1200 Custom
Hello all
A little backstory, a while back I helped a friend chop the rear fender and install an LED brake light (documented here) and all seemed to be going pretty well until he bottomed out tore up some of the wiring we had done..
at any rate, as a result, fuse #7 blew taking out the lighting system.. simple enough to fix - just used one of the free fuses to replace it..
this time around he wanted to remove the LED brake light previously installed and wanted to go with the auxiliary turn signals as Brake/Run/Turn using the Harley Module for auxiliary..
now mind you, we previously chopped the rear fender, including the original brake light harness... so essentially the auxiliary lights are wired directly into the Brown / Violet wires that run along the top of the fender, which is then connected to the AUX module, which is then plugged directly into the main harness under the seat.
any ideas about why the horn/brake light/ front+rear signals are not working? As it stands right now, the headlight hi/low - front running lights - rear auxiliary running lights are working only.
tl;dr - horn, signals & brake light not currently working. Mod installed: Auxiliary Brake Light/Running Light/Turn Signal Conversion Kit. Other Mod: fender chopped, no longer using original brake light harness.
