Default 2022 Nightster RH975 Fuses

I need to check the fuses. Where the heck are they lol. I saw the main fuse might be on the right side up by the fork but I can't figure out how to get that panel off.
I got the left and right covers off by the seat. I even got the left side cover up by the fork off too. I can't find the fuses. Need to check the main fuse, trickle charger fuse, and others. Thanks.

You don't have the owners manual then? Try and goggle their location may help.

I've googled , youtubed, and looked at the online sip manual. Its very confusing and the manual is for the 1200 Nland 950 and the pictures make no sense lol can't find any good references on the nightster

I moved this thread to the "Sportster S" forum. I think the RH975 is an "S" model, not the "Street" which is 500 and 750, I think. Not real familiar with the newer models, but I know the RH975 is not an air cooled Sportster like our XL models.

If you go to the HD corporate website, you can download the Owner's Manual for free, or buy a Factory Service Manual, which will pay for itself many times over in the long run.

I downloaded this manual: https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson....inContent=true
which has pictures of the fuses but doesn't indicate what cover their behind. It has a diagram of the main and 3 additional fuses but no picture so i'm not totally sure what i'm looking for. Also I have a hard time telling from the "interactive diagrams" how to pull that front right cover off, i can feel two sides are loose and one seems to be wiggly but attached. not sure if it's a clip or just one of those push ins, afraid to rip it off lol. was hoping to find someone who can directly answer on this 2022 Nightster RH975 exactly which cover the fuses are behind and what it looks like. If not that's ok just thought this would be the place to ask. Thanks.

Now that your query is in the correct place on our forum, you are likely to get a proper response. Asking a bunch of old guys with pushrod XL's is not gonna get you too far.

Good luck. And, welcome aboard!

Both steering head covers are secured by a single screw. Once the screw is removed from the left cover, both covers are removed in a similar fashion. Tilt the top outward, then lift upwards to disengage the two tabs on the bottom of the covers from the slots in the frame. The main 40 amp fuse is located on the right side. The three individual system fuses are located on the left side. To access the system fuses, it's necessary to remove the protective cover from the fuse block.

The below pic shows the protective cover removed from the fuse block on a 1250 where the block is located under the left side cover below the seat. The 1250 and 975 use the same fuse block, and protective cover even though they are in different locations on the main wiring harness.

See how easy it is if you ask the right people?

Got it. thanks for all the help!
I had to unscrew the bolt from the left side panel that goes all the way through to the right side panel. Once removing both of those, the main 40a fuse is under the right side panel.
Fuse pulled, replacing battery, which is a pain in the *** on this model lol. pull left and right chin spoilers, main chin spoiler, and then regulator assembly, then battery. yeesh.
