Default Run flat vs non run flat

I am curious as to does it matter if its a runflat vs, a non run flat tire? I only ask since I am wanting to order my new tire today and want to make sure I am ordering the correct one, I have found a lot of people running both non run flat and run flat, I just would like some advice.

Just putting my second Yokohama Avid Ascend on in the morning. It's the non run flat Yokohama. I did look at them but went back with what I had and got 35k miles plus out of.
I do use the Ride-On to balance and seal in case of a flat if that makes a difference

Is that what some are running? I only ask since I do ride long distance often. About 150 a day . Cost wise a non runflat makes sense. Bust I can see bothways .I was just asking for safety reasons with the sidewall .But if you say it's not an issue then I'm good

Probably more out there running non-runflat tires. Mines not a run flat. It would give the ability to get somewhere safe if the tire did lose air but as long as the tire isn't coming apart, I'll ride mine somewhere safe anyway and worry about the rim later. Next time around, I'm going to give ride-on a shot. It'll probably be in another non-runflat tire as well.

Hey I appreciate it. I think I'm going to go with the hankook h426 or the gmax . What are you running?

Default Advice needed

How much ride on is needed with a 195/60-16? Just wanted to make sure I ordered enough .I am placing my order tomorrow morning for a 195/60-16 Kumho Ecsta PA-31. Any advice on my choices and how much ride on I need would be greatly appreciated. I'm excited about finally making it to the dark side.

This is the same tire I'm running. 37-38 psi works perfect for me on this tire. The bead set really easy as well. I think it seated around 30 psi. You'll need 2 bottles of Ride On.

I greatly appreciate the info. Looks fantastic. So two full 8oz bottles of ride on? For a total of 16 oz? I'm excited to finally make the change
