Neighbors let me see if I can explain this without confusing the heck out of ya'll. Iam moving to the dark side with a 205/55/16 as soon as I wear out this MT. Being Im vertically challenged, Im looking into putting a monotube on front with a 1" to 2' drop and air ride on the rear to lower it also. My delima and question is 1st. has anyone else done these changes with a CT ? 2nd with the bike lowered and rear wheel well full of tire, will I have alot of rubbing? Thanks in advance. Its good to know there are others out there that think alot like me, economical but yet safety in mind. I guess I have a third ? what can a rider actually see at 90 and 100 mph. Life is short take the time to enjoy this great world the good Lord has given us to enjoy!!! Jus saying

My bike is lowered 1" forward and about 1.25" rear with no problems.

In front I have a set of Progressive Monotubes and in the rear I am running a set of 3-3 Ohlins and a rear lowering kit set to smallest increment to give clearance for my Dragula pipe.

I'm with ya on the vertical part on my 09 Road King. I'm also not as young as I use to be.

That's why I installed Arnotte 13" air shocks and 1" lower front. I'm running a 195/55/16 G-Max and I can drop the shocks all the way down with no problem. I would never ride it like that but when I need my feet flat on uneven surface I can. Just saying.

Hope this helps with your decision...
