Default Bitchin Baggers and Harley

I have a 2002 RKC that needed a new rear tire. Looks like I need to do the brakes too... While I'm at it I might as well lower the front and rear. Looking at going with the Bitchin Baggers shocks. Looking to go 1.75" lower in the rear. For the front they do not sell it, but recommend the Harley front end lowering kit instead of Progressive. They say that the Harley kit (1" lower) is a much better kit as far as the ride and the materials used to do it. Anyone used either of these? I know she will ride much more stiff than stock. I have done this before and prefer the lowered look, feel and ride.
Thanks!
Ride safe,
Mike

I used Bitchin Baggers to cut down a stock set of rear shocks to 12". They did a good job and were pretty quick about it. I was very satisfied with their service.

Nevermind my question. They're right down the street from my house. I think I'll stop-in and chat with them.

Thanks for the reply. I called them today and they were very helpful. I'll be packing up my shocks this weekend.
Ride safe,
Mike

I don't know about the Harley kit but I have the Progressive front lowering springs on my bike and I have no issues with ride quality.

Well I sent my shocks to Bitchin Baggers. It took a week for them to get them as I sent them 1st class mail. They called me to confirm the length. I decided to go 2". They shipped them out and I got them in 2 days... They did an awesome job and once I got them pumped up to 15ibs they ride very good for a shortened shock. I rode a couple hundred miles today and i was very pleased. i hope the picture i attached shows up...If you use them go to the post office and get the box that they advertise "if it fits it ships".
Ride safe,
Mike

I have had 2 sets of shocks shortened by Bitchin baggers and they did an outstanding job on both with very quick turn around. First I had was a 2" drop but I found that a bit too low as it would bottom on small potholes, jolting me pretty hard. I had a set of profile low shocks I later sent and had dropped 3/4" (1 1/2 total drop from stock) which work better for me, even 2 up. I Lso dropped the front an inch with the Harley kit. The Harley kit is made the same as the stock so the quality is the same. Only problem with the Harley kit is the top nut is a real pain to get started with that stiffer spring. I had to use a press to push the nut down. It does ride stiffer, but I used Screamin Eagle oil which is heavier.
