He can always bring it back and have them fix it, they're obligated having charged him.

Yeah, once I hear back from Dynojet as to the outcome of the refund I'm going to have a talk with them. I won't get a refund, but I may try for a redo. TBH, it only takes me to be screwed once to never patronize a shop again and I'm feeling pretty screwed right now. So I may just eat the loss and look elsewhere.

I hate this ****.

They say they tuned it, but will run it for a printout when they can. Meaning a simple dyno run, not a tune.

That's shitty. I was handed some hearing protection and Sat in the dyno room for the duration. Then I took it for test ride before I paid.

How do they use the brake without a tach input? Speed or percent is what you would be left with. I do my tuning with brake dependent on engine RPM. Other do this differently but step testing and roll ons from a rpm would be out.

If their dyno isn't operational enough to give you a sheet without a tach signal. It isn't operational enough to tune your bike.

Yeah, pretty much what I was thinking, seems like all they did they ran an autotune on the PV just like I could do...

There are so many things that sound off with this whole thing.

1. Purchasing another license and not even contacting you first?

2. No dyno sheet?

3. Tachometer doesn't work?

4. No afr changes to your map?

You're in a bad spot because you paid them. The only reason I would go back is to ask for a refund. I wouldn't have them touch the bike again.

Even any part of what they are saying is true.. It's obvious they didn't even tune your bike, and had you assed out for another $200.

Yeah. Looks like Dynojet will refund the license at least.

Not a hell of a lot of shops around here. Guess I'll be finding a new shop once I recover from the $400 wash.
