Other Devices: Flhxs w/fp3
Had a good amount of decel pop, which did not surprise me as these bikes run lean from factory. I tuned FP3 using the "V&H Twin Slash Cut Rounds" with "Standard Baffle" which is what V&H recommended to me over the phone.
It eliminated almost all of my decel pop, however I did notice a couple times I did get a pop on decel once it hit the lower RPM's just before stopping at a light etc.
Now, at first I thought I was being greedy wanting to clear all of the decel pop up, and I was happy with the results I got from the FP3.
However its killing me to not ask second opinions on this because I literally took the FP3 out of the box, and flashed it (1) time with that map. It was seamless, took minutes, and I havn't fussed with it since.
So now to my questions, has anyone had any good results picking an initial base map from FP3 thats close to your setup, and then running autotune on it also to "iron" out as much as possible?
There are other maps on there that I could try that are similar to the Street Cannons. I was also suggested to use the V&H Monster Rounds as a base map too if I wanted to try another map to go off of.
I'm really thinking about (a) trying another map tomorrow and then if I do not see any difference to then run an autotune on the map I'm using now and see if it cleans up the lower RPM range I'm still occasionally getting some feedback from.
Or of course, if need me, tell me to shut and run the bike the way it is.
I also wanted to note, I reflashed the bike when it was probably 75* out. On my way home from the ride I took the sun was heading down and the temp was probably 60-65 so I do not know if that temp differential would be enough to induce the periodic decel pop or not.
I can tell right now I'm overthinking this and just need to run the bike.....i just can't help myself though.

An autotune run will at least tell you how close the stock map is. If she's running fine tho, tuning is a whole can of worms to get into.
Note that if you go down the tuning route the FP3 does not seem to tune the 0% throttle column, so won't help you there, I had to edit mine manually once the autotune had done the 2% up. There is a Decel pop setting in the FP3 that you could try without tuning.
Two things to watch for - a heavy smell of petrol and/or error codes in the ECU complaining that front rear or both are too rich
cheers
I actually read through Spazz's thread which can be seen here:

Talk about some good info!
Anyway, thanks for the feedback Gordon61
