Default Slip ons, new breather, no tuner

Quick question. I have a 17 M8 Road Glide. I put Cobra slip ons about a month ago. Yesterday I put on an Arlen Ness breather. Am I damaging my engine without a tuner? The bike is running great. No back firing. I thought I’d be ok until I get a head pipe. Let me know what you all think

No, you will not ruin your engine. That said, keep this in mind...Your bike came from the factory tuned lean and “hot” as mandated by emissions regs.
By increasing airflow (slipons and intake) you can only experience a leaner/hotter running bike.
The ONLY way you will experience the difference between a lean/hot running bike and a recalibrated/tuned one that runs cooler and more responsive all while experiencing good mileage...is to get your bikes tuned for the changes you’ve made to the airflow.
Riding a well-tuned bike is a stark contrast to one that wholly relies on the onboard sensors to try to effectively adjust for increased airflow. There are also limits to how much change is available with the stock calibration/tune. If the engine needs more fuel than the stock limit the bike will not run as smooth and responsive as a properly recalibrated engine.
Production variables such as actual injector flow vs rated, actual port flow, and as important as port flow (cam timing), is how the exhaust flow which varies with every pipe and design.
Hoping this convinces you to get it tuned...you will not regret it...just ask those who have!
