heheh....
I may ride up for Biketoberfest, not sure if it will just be a one day there and back.
@ Lauren, couple of us going over thurs, couple more showing up sat. Bunch of guys, dont think they're bringing their wives. Doubtful you'll feel comfortable with that but you're welcome to catch up with us.
I'll stop back in before 10/14, see anyone else headed that way.

agree, you can see someone and not even know they are there. To "MEET UP" in Daytona at a bike event (bike week/biketoberfest) you do not just happen into Froggy's or Boot Hill and ask if someone is 'Florida Crew'. If you do not recognize someone...you may never find them. I do not care if you say I will be there at 11:00 and have lime green hair. Chances are....you will not be where you say you will be at the time you say you will. You might be on the east side of the Main Street bridge....and looking for a parking space. And as has been said by me in the past, that is why I carry a cheap walkie-talkie (you can get two for about $35 at Best Buy). I have mine on channel 19. I am not going searching for people. In Daytona during Biketoberfest, you can be on one side of the street and not even seethe person you are looking for on the other side...let alone someone you may not know. I also belong to a road glide group, and last year was to meet up with a group. I never saw anyone although they said they were where we were suppose to meet (Target parking lot on International Speedway Blvd). I never look for anyone, and have found most people that way.
