Default Down with broken ankle

I'm out of riding with a broken ankle. Still would like to get out to some of the biketoberfest events. I hope to get up to Rossmyers

Yes...feel stupid. Going around a slow corner with some leaves on the street. The front lost traction. Had to be slime under the leaves. I slammed my right foot down to save it. I could feel it break. Didn't crash...but I wish I would have let the bike go down. It was at like 25 mph. Sucks

Almost the same thing happened to me a number of years back. Slow speed, right turn from stop, leaves on the road...broke my fibula. Six months later I was getting pain in the same knee. Found out then that I had also torn my meniscus. All better now. Hope you will be too.

It sucks. The company I was working for . Eliminated my job the day I had surgery. Needless to say. I'm in a bad way now. I broke the tubular and fibula, torn ligaments and tendon. Harley was good enough to roll two months of payments to the end. I just hope I can get up on my foot and find work fast.
