Friday riding across the mid state via Leesburg/Ocala Forest/Flagler to Daytona we got hit pretty bad with them. Let's say thousands splatted on the front of the bike. Sunday coming back on I-4 only had maybe 25 on the bike.
Drove the truck to WPB last weekend o a conference and used a gallon of washer fluid on the way over and another gallon on the way back. Love bugs were so bad it sounded like small arms fire hitting the front of the truck.
Those damn things offend with equality. If you have a dark colored vehicle they leave their white guts and if you have a light colored vehicle they leave their black bodies.

Seems like they like swarming more inland than here near the coast. Got cought in a swarm at a Racetrack Station in South Deland today.
By the time I got home, I could not see through the windshield. It took a hot water and car wash soap bath to get the windshield, fairing and front lights clean. What a mess.
Bought the new scoot on the 21st, luv bugs full blown but wanted to get that 500 mile break in over with and the next 500 so I can get my upgrades started with that 1K service. Finally got around to washing it today, it was nasty...*laffs
