Great interactive map - thanks for the additional inspiration. I just (permanently) moved to the Treasure Coast after 4 decades of riding the great riding state of Colorado. I've been kinda spoiled with the world class routes in the Rockies but look forward to finding some great rides here in Flatistan, especially after the weather cools a bit. After many trips to Sturgis, I also plan on my first run to Biketoberfest in a few months.... hope see you there!

Day Rides;
Aripeka Rd off us19 north of hudson. Get the maps app out and ride it up through Aripeka, wikee wachee, bayport and out to pine island. Bring a suit and towel if it's hot, there's some decent beaches out that way too and good resturaunts along the way if you need to eat. If memory serves me right Aripeka rd is the one with Florida's own version of tunnel of trees with Spanish moss hanging down in the middle of the road.
Bayport Inn 4835 Cortez Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34607
Rustic, waterfront bar/eatery with typical seafood plates, outdoor seating & live music.Has all you can eat ˇ Serves happy hour food ˇ Has live music
Just east maybe 1 mile of I-75 on FL 98 there is a road on the north side of 98 called Croom Ritual Rd. This is a mild wicked back road for Florida's standards. Theres a traffic light at the intersection on 98. Head north on CR down the short hill while making a hair pin turn to the right, go up a few hundred yards and make the hair pin turn left and then let it rip. For the next 30 mins or more it's twisties, long straight aways, mild hills etc. through ranch land, wild life management areas and there's a park at the half way mark with flush toilets. As with any florida road, watch the sand !!! There's a few abrupt 5mph 90° turns also. Eventually it will dump you at the circle K on 41 just north of Brooksville. From there you have many choices for where to ride to.

Bar, Food, Large outdoor area with live music on the weekends.
Near Dunnellon/Floral City? Another popular place with good food is Swampys bar and grill. 19773 E Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon, FL 34432 the outdoor dinning area is literally 2 feet from the crystal clear rivers edge. Beware you do not want to be here after the sun goes down. The mosquitoes will literally haul your *** off. The parking lot is gravel but not a big deal
