you have talked about doing this ride before, now there is an event to push you over the deciding fence. Sounds great with the family vacation to top it off too!!

It would be great if we could escort you, in support, part of the way, as you pass our respective parts of the state. But it may be too crazy with being so near the begining point of the race.
Looks like an ol' skool blast! If I could get through Canada, had plenty of funds, and didn't have to work.. I'd love to try something like this! Do it, Jerry! Do it for the Fl. Crew. I'll even donate to your application fee, brother. Just tell me where to send it..

There's a link on the Bead Rider website to a story about an Iron Butt rider that made the ride from Key West to Alaska in something like 4 DAYS(!). Set a record, IIRC. Everybody interested in this ride event should read the story.

If I remain unemployed, and get the IRS on my azz, that might be incentive enough to go with ... stopping just before the Alaska state line, of course.
