You guys are funny !!!
By the way - last night after dinner I went for a good engine warm up ride (about 50 miles). Bike was fine, cruise control worked.. no "check engine" light). When I pulled intto the garage I put a fresh piece of cardboard under it. This morning it was dry, no oil.
I know this is not the case with you Steve but when you wash the bike water sometimes gives the cruise control problems, used to happen to my 07 RKC.
Happy the oil issue was simple.
Glad the oil issue was simple too.
You could be onto something about the cruise cntrol and washing. The service manager asked me about the Rear Alert Modual that I installed. He said that could have caused the cruise issue, but I told him it has been in there nearly as long as I have had the bike and have not had an issue.
