The Disabled American Vets. of the tri county area are having a poker run to benefit local disabled veterans in need. The run starts at Coles 4 corners in Bronson and goes mostly back roads to Morrison, Chiefland, Trenton, Fanning springs, and ends at the Old Town tavern in Old Town. Best hand wins a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas for two. ( If'n you win and don't have any one to take to the Bahamas I'll volenteer to go with you. (as long as you pay for my BEER) It starts at 9:00 am and Last bike in at 3:00 pm. It's $15.00 per rider and $5.00 for passenger if you register before Jan 1st. The poker run is on Jan. 9th. $20 and $10 on the day of the run. (Jan. 9th) You can call FRED (352)493-9377 FOR DETAILS. It's for a great cause.

Hey Bob, I am in. I am assuming the run is Jan 1st? I will just wait and register the day of the ride. I would rather pay the higher fee since it is such a good cause. Let me know what time you want to meet in Williston for breakfast.
I didn't see a mention about it on the D.A.V. site.
I was looking to confirm the ride is on Jan 1st (say it ain't so.)
I won't be up and out of bed until 2PM New Years Day....maybe.
I've never been on a poker run, but I do know what they are.
Can Fl. Crew ride together, or do they stick ya with whoever?
Poker runs are pretty cool cause you can ride with who you want and you can leave any time from LBO (last bike out) to LBI (last bike in. ) Just so you hit all the stops and get your cards between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm
