Gettin' Closer
Currently it's awaiting a final production line inspection before they crate it for shipment. However, we still don't have the VIN yet - should have that by the end of the week. THEN I get to go get insurance.
Once ENCS finally gets the VIN from HD, I get to sign the Financing paperwork, then HD will ship the bike to the dealer for delivery. If I'm lucky I'll have the by BEFORE Easter, vice after as was originally scheduled.
Hoping I will still be able to buy gas AND pay for the bike AND the insurance once all is said and done.
Need some stress relief on a daily basis, with the kids I teach AND with the Wife in California INDEFINITELY tending to ailing parents.
It's all good. Just want to get out and ride for a change.

Will be ordering Bags, Wind Screen, and Roll/Crash/Highway bar next week, so they're all here when the bike arrives. Figure I might as well get going right from the start, and plan for the inevitable. Plus wanna be able to get some good use out of it getting to and from work.
Dave - sounds like a plan. Just concentrate on getting yourself fixed for now, THEN we can see about getting you out and about again.
Vic - I sense the same thing on this end.
SBJJC - Been to Sweetwater or SDHD lately? Lived in CV for about 2 years, until I left in December to come back home here in FL. Was on the Reagan at North Island until I retired.

Got Allstate vice Progressive. Saved almost $200 a year between the two, and am paying less than $400 a year total - alot less than what I had expected to pay as a first-time owner / rider.
Hoping bike will ship next week from factory to the dealer.
Ordering parts next week.
No, not any chrome yet or new pipes.
Bags, windshield, and crash/roll/highway bar.
