M.J. Rode up to Bradenton this morning and we had a nice quite visit until I had to go to physical therapy, He left his house at 20 til 6 this morning and was a little on the cool side when he got here but we warmed him up and had a great visit. Thanks for coming to see me Brother. No pics this time just did not think about it.
On another note I was outside while ago and one of the dreaded Love Bugs landed on my arm and started looking and there were a lot of them buzzing around. Dam Love Bugs, I am glad my bike is in the shop because that is the one thing that makes me park it. To much trouble to clean up.
Harley estimate on the bike is $2500.00 and progressive told them to proceed. Should have everything ordered tomorrow and they said probably 1 day maybe 2 to repair it so now all I have to do is get my legs strong and we can go for a ride. I can not wait.... Tick-toc....
That's great news Dave (almost). Glad you guys had a good visit and that the ins co. is going to take care of you.
BUT Damn, it's to early to be hearing about the F'in love bugs, they're not supposed to be here till May. I guess I'll be picking them from my teeth next week on the way to NC.
Welcome Dave. I think I would rather put up with bugs than parking my bike for the winter.
I hear you on the winter with no scooter, I do not know how y'all do it. They are usually only around for about a week in any given area but they sure do make a mess, They will take the paint right off of a car if you let them go.
Love bugs are better than F'ing SNOW!!! Dave glad MJ made it by to see you. Hope to grace you with my presence pretty soon. Keep getting stronger. Sounds like you may be ready as fast as the bike.
Guess I am confused as to what is so worse with the love bugs than the everday bugs I get smeared ont he windshield just riding through the everglades. I always have to clean the bugs after a ride.
Good job MJ... sorry but everytime I see MJ Im thinking Michael Jack*** wanting to know "wheres the monkey" LOL
Glad you guys got a chance to visit... Kudos for Mike
I pulled into Cafe 27 truck stop one Sunday to get fuel. A biker chick pulled in on a Road King with a little monkey sitting on her shoulder. I didn't see it it was attached to a leash or not, but that was a strange sight.
