Wow, Greed the #1 dream killer.
Good news, The hold up was that they are still waiting on a shift lever to come in and thats why he did not turn the work order in, because he is technically not finished with it. So he took a piece of pipe and straightened it out enough to ride and they said I can take it and they will just fix the lever when it come in which is fine because I am waiting on saddle bags to. They said give them until about 2 and they will have it all washed up and ready to go. I ask them to be sure and check my tire pressure as it has been sitting for three months. Wooopeeee! On the Road again, I can't wait to get on the road again, Racking up milessss with my Flo ri da crew friends, I can't wait to get on the road again. LET'S RIDE!
Dave that is great news
All is as it should be now. I got the Scooter home at last. It was about fifty miles and was the best ride of my life. I was really concerned that I might be scared or scared for life from the accident but I hit I-275 right where i picked it up and it was just like I had ridden it yesterday. No problem which is a huge relief. It is hard getting on it because getting my leg that high is difficult but it is extremely comfortable once I get on. Nothing like the wind in your face and I guess the smells and temp inversions were the two things I missed the most. Gonna keep rides short for the immediate future and can not wait to hook up with some of my crew friends for some rides. Here are a couple if pics. You can see the shift lever still bent but it is ridable, he straightened it good as he could with a pipe, they have backordered this four times. And the Saddlebags are still not in either but they do not have all of their money yet. I would like to thank all of you for your support throughout this difficult time and want y'all to know that I appreciate all the help you have been to Slowryder and I. Thanks a bunch!!!
