Hey gang! I am finding more and more cool places up here. Today I went to an area they call Burnt Mountain. This is about 3200 foot elevation that you climb on long sweeping hills (not really "twisties").
The route I took today has this scenic overlook about 41 miles from my house. My yard is in this picture somewhere since this photo is looking south. On a clear day, I'm told, you can see the skyscrapers of Atlanta off this same view too.
These are just camera phone pics, so not the best quality.
You're making me twisty hungry, Paul. Maybe we can hook up for a ride when I'm up the last 2 weeks of July.
Sounds GREAT cHarley!!!! I'd still love to get a gaggle of FL Crew up here one of these days.
Hey BlueDragon! - any time my friend.
Actually, one of these weekends (soon), I'm riding down to Dale's so I can re-visit all my over-missed fun spots down there: Destination Daytona, The Cheyenne Bar..... heck... what am I saying? I miss my FL Crew, AND I miss all the local bars I use to hit down there. Heee heee hee
So many roads, so little time. I'm hoping heaven is a place with an ocean in the front and mountains in the back. "...and little streams of alcohol that come a tricklin' down the rocks".
