Well, FINALLY, I am within 100 miles of my 1K Dealer-required FIRST Service on my bike. Currently the speedometer is sitting at 930.8 miles.
Question? How far OVER the 1K can I comfortably go, based on everyone's experience, and not fun into warranty problems with MOCO?
I ride the bike to work 3 to 4 days a week, putting roughly 70 miles a day on it. Haven't ridden it this week, yet. Also, it's gonna be at least a week or so before I can get it into the dealer and have the stuff done due to a severe lack of $$$$$ right now.
I want to be able to keep riding the bike, but I'm in a Catch 22 right now.
Like everyone said, a couple of hundred over won't hurt. But keep in mind, this is the most important fluid change wehn you remove all the little metal shaving from when the engine was bored.
But above all... follow TJ Dave's advice about the multiplexor modulator being attached, mine was lose at first service!
I'll go check the FLUX CAPACITOR while I'm at it!
Man it's getting DEEP in here already!!!! Gotta go get my waders on before this gets going too much more!

Make sure it produces 1.21 gigawatts of electricity.Better make sure those are chest waders.
Chief,
Call, make your appointment and tell them you have 9XX miles on it.... That way you tried to have it serviced at 1k miles, but the service couldn't squeeze you in.
