Most of you know the ordeal of my Deluxe before it made the rally (well...made it to Deland). My rear brake caliper went out while Dean was riding it to Dales to meet up with the South and East Coast folks. Thank goodness Dean didn't have an accident !!!!
We trailered it to Lakeland Harley yesterday and they just called to say everything will be covered under my extended warranty except the new brake pads so that is a big relief. Merry Christmas to me for not having a huge repair bill. My new gremlin bell that Dean got me will be put on before I leave the dealership with him (yes my bike is male). I do have to admit that I had to go sit on a Fat Bob and a Street Bob while I was at the dealership....couldn't imagine trading him in though.

You got a really sweet bike, I hope you hold on to it. And besides, I don't think people could ever get used to calling you "Spunky Bob". Maybe "Spunky Bobbie-Sue"?
Great news. Always nice to have some savings pop up over the holidays. I have yet to make my money back on an extended wrnty, yet I still get them on my cars, but didn't on the bike. Oh, speaking of my bike, I see the Dyna's are drawing you to the dark side.... If you like it just by sittng on it, don't ride it! There's just something about those Dyna's!

I am so glad to hear the work is covered! I really appreciate the loan of the bike. Things didn't work out as planned but that didn't take away the extreme generosity that you showed to me. I really hope you two make it to Arizona in 2012 so I can return the hospitality to you in some way. Thanks again!
